Charlie's Tools for Maya
RELEASE 1.2
New Features:
Made a tweak toggle command that gives a HUD message for which mode you enter, and goes straight to the move tool if another transform tool is not already active (this will also commit a multicut, for example). Will also go to vertex mode.
Added an 'Object Pivot' mode for Flip, Mirror, Delete by Symmetry and Fix Symmetry commands. These commands not accompany the original 'World Axis' versions.
Reworked the Flip, Mirror, Delete by Symmetry and Fix Symmetry hotkey layout to be more comprehensive and logical:
Flip - 8 , Mirror & Weld - 9, Delete by Symmetry - 0
x = No Modifier, y = ctrl, z = shift
Alt = Object Center
Added a command to jump into finding topological symmetry.
Made a custom 'Move Tool' that turns off 'Tweak Mode' when activated.
Enhancements:
Made the multi cut and target weld tools go to the move tool if pressed again while active (instead of go to the select tool)
Added an improved flexibility to install hotkeys with multiple key modifiers inside the installer
Fixes:
Fixed an issue where the ‘Align Components to the World Axis’ commands were not working as expected, especially when certain symmetrical edting modes were enabled.
Improved the results of ‘Add Supporting Edges’ command.
Fixed an issue where rounding errors causing the 'Toggle Pivot Centers' command to be stuck at world center and not toggle back to object centers.
Fixed an issue where the 'Merge Components' command would not behave properly in the case where only 1 vertex was selected by the user.
